1.  Add an "es" to a noun ending with an "o."

Example:

Singular   - A tomato is red.
Plural        - Tomatoes are red.

2.  Add an "es" or "s" to the following words.

  Singular
  Plural
  buffalo
  buffaloes or buffalos
  mosquito
  mosquitoes or mosquitos

  tornadoes or tornados
  volcano
  volcanoes or volcanos

3.  Add "s" if the noun ends with a vowel and an "o."

3.  Add "s" if the noun ends with an "o." and it is a new word to the English language.
