Plate with a variation of traditional eastern desserts

I started making sweets five years ago. I taught myself by watching free online courses on Google. In fact, this work has become a part of my life. Many people started tasting my sweets because they were different from the type of cakes, donuts and buns that are found in Canada. My sweets are made with nuts, filo sheets, natural ghee and sugar.

Since my treats were popular, I decided to print some cards to introduce myself and allow people to put in orders. Then, I also created content on my YouTube and Instagram channels to introduce my work and the special ingredients used for the sweets I make. I even started an Arabic cooking show, showing people how to make things like falafel, shawarma, and kebab.

Currently, my sweets are so popular that I am taking reservations for orders in advance and I am thinking in the future about opening a shop called “Syrian Kitchen.”
