Health

Group of diverse friends hanging out together and laughing

I believe “Laughter is the best medicine.” If we laugh more often we will feel happier and be healthier. Laughing is one of my life's most simple pleasures. It has a similar effect to physical exercise. It’s a kind of “jogging” on the spot and pain relief. Laughter improves my state of mind and affects my entire physical well being.

There is another thing I know about laughter: it is contagious. Like the flu, laughter can spread easily among people. Often when we hear someone laughing in a crowded room, we start laughing , even if we have no idea why. Unlike the flu, this kind of spread does not bring pain, but positive energy. As I also like to say: Laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone.
