It started when I applied for the job position at Tenaris for the production worker position.

I saw the job post on the job indeed and sent my resume online. After a few days, I got the email with the link of online assessment questions. When I passed the online questions, I was invited for a formal interview which took place at Tenaris Algoma Tubes on December 28,2022 at 2:30 pm. When I heard about the interview I was scared because my English is not good enough to do an interview and also it was my first English interview in my life. I was really scared and I decided to send a message to my English teacher, Ms Dhira, telling her about the job interview. When she heard about my concern, she helped me to prepare for the interview by sending me the common sample interview questions and she also called me so that we could go through the questions together. We had a long conversation about that interview and it was helpful because after that chat, I was confident that I would do it as I felt that I was prepared.

On the interview day, I revised the history of the company, the responsibility of the position I applied for, my resume and all the notes I took when I was chatting with my English teacher, Ms Dhira and I was ready for the interview. One hour before the interview, Ms Dhira sent me a short text, saying “Amani you can do it”!. Those words empowered me and gave me the courage to do better. When I reached the interview, I shook hard with the lady who was interviewing me. During the interview, I keeped eye contact like my teacher, Ms Dhira guided me, and I tried to answer all the questions. This helped me to get all the questions she was asking me. The interview went better than I was expecting and all the questions they asked I understood, and I was able to answer them the best way I could. It lasted for 10 minutes. Later in the evening, I got the email saying that I passed the interview and got the job offer. Reading this email, I was so happy that I got the job offer and I accepted the job offer.

My job interview experience was unforgettable and exciting at the same time, moreover, it went well with the support of my family and my English teacher Ms Dhira.
