Since moving to Canada in April 2024, this summer was our first chance to explore the beauty of the country.
One of the most memorable places we visited was Gatineau Park. It is a huge natural area with lots of trails, lakes, and scenic lookouts, perfect for a family outing.
One of the highlights of our visit was Pink Lake. It isn’t pink but a brilliant green due to the special algae in the water. It was hard to carry my two-year-old daughter, but that didn't stop me from enjoying our day. We walked along the Pink Lake Trail, which offers stunning views of the lake from different angles. It was peaceful.
After Pink Lake, we visited other places in the park with the shuttle: a school bus that goes around the park all day long for free.
Our visit to Gatineau Park was a mix of adventure and relaxation. We enjoyed the fresh air. It was an unforgettable experience, and we’re excited to explore more places in Canada in the future.
