Marriage is an important moment for every person, regardless of which country you are from. In my country, there are many interesting traditions when getting married, depending on the region but now fewer and fewer people follow these traditions.

If you look at the bride's clothes, it is usually a white dress, as in most countries. The groom has a classic suit, like most of the male guests at the wedding. All other female guests wear evening dresses.

The wedding ceremony does not last long, maybe half an hour, but there is also a wedding ceremony at the church, which can be up to two hours. Most of the guests usually come to the dance and dinner party in a restaurant or hall for celebrations. There are usually several tables, such as the main one where most of the guests sit and two others with sweets and snacks. Also, the main attribute of a wedding is the live music performed by a band. Most of them are modern songs, but many folk songs are also played at Ukrainian weddings.

The wedding after- party can last for several days or even a whole week but this happens at the bride’s home and with fewer guests, usually close family and friends.
