Sleep is a physiological demand of every person. It's an active process in our life, similar to eating or drinking. If people are deprived of sleep, it can be fatal.
We do not know all the functions of sleep, but practice shows that sleep seriously influences our mental and physical health. For example, if someone loses the opportunity to sleep, they can feel tiredness or annoyance. Sometimes, you may experience decreased concentration and attention, which can impact various activities and result in odd behavior. If a person doesn't sleep for a long time, it can affect coordination, speech, and adequate perception of the world.
In recent years, people have been sleeping less than they need. I believe that the use of different electronic gadgets may affect how long a person sleeps. First of all, it depends on the desire to be constantly "online" and up-to-date. Instead of going to bed on time, people prefer to spend time on social networks and neglect their health needs. Secondly, a lot of unnecessary information may influence our mental health. Our brains cannot deal with excessive information, especially young or old brains, which struggle to separate truth from falsehood and constantly think about the received information. This can damage the psyche.
All of this can lead to shallow sleep and result in physical illness, headaches, irritability, and more. The most dangerous aspect is when a person doesn't understand the reason for their poor feelings, which can lead to more serious illnesses. If you have any issues with sleep, it is a good decision to visit a doctor who can help you choose the right treatment and normalize your sleep. Take care of your sleep!
