In Ukraine, there are four big holidays during the spring. One of them is Easter. We call it "Paskha,." It is a time when people go to church with baskets full of coloured eggs, meat, Easter bread and wine. After that, relatives gather for breakfast to share this food. We usually go to someone's home. Easter is only one big religious holiday in the spring.
The first spring holiday in Ukraine is the “International Women’s Day.”, We celebrate it on the 8th of March. On that day, women receive congratulations, flowers and presents. In May ,we have two main holidays: These are Labor Day and Victory Day. Parades, labour marches, and concerts are common during these days. Generally, the weather becomes warm, and people like to go outside on these holidays. They are both fun times of the year.
