Last year I celebrated Mother’s Day with my elderly landlady who I call my stepmom. She lives alone and does not have anyone to visit her. I bought her a nice pot of fresh red flowers, a card and I ordered a big box of KFC and a pop. When I came home, she was sleeping so I woke her up. She said to me: “What’s happening, What’s wrong?” I told her today is Mother's Day so I want to wish you a happy Mother's Day. She hugged me and she started crying. I gave her the card and the flowers and we sat at the table to eat together. She said to me, "You are very kind person. You have made my day". She loved the flowers very much and she is still watering them every morning. I know that her favorite food is KFC because she loves KFC more than anything else. We were sitting, eating and drinking pop and talking together for about two hours. It was very good time for both of us. I was so happy to be able to do something good for someone special.
