As I get older, I have started to see spring in a different way. Moving to Canada has made me enjoy spring with my son.

We have our own garden and I’m so excited for this year as we bought a house that also has a small greenhouse. Where we live in BC, the weather usually isn’t as hot as plants need for growing, so a greenhouse will help us, especially with tomatoes. Otherwise, we usually grow kale, zucchini, and lettuce in pots. I’m excited because this year I will try to plant carrots and potatoes, and we will have an area just for herbs.

What I also like is planting big sun flowers… I love them!
