Our family lived in Summerside for almost a year. In early 2023, our family moved to Charlottetown. Charlottetown is the capital city of Prince Edward Island. Charlottetown is much bigger than Summerside, so my family would have more options for work, shopping, childcare, and school. However, the price for renting is higher than in Summerside.

We are renting a ground floor in a house which is located on Forest Drive Street. It is a very convenient location for getting to my work and my daughter's childcare center. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to my workplace and my daughter's childcare center. My husband still works in Summerside, so he takes about 45 minutes to drive from Charlottetown to Summerside. It is not easy for him because he works the night shift. This means that we must arrange for shopping and taking my daughter out on the weekend. We still feel good about living here.

We often go shopping at Asian stores like Junco Market, Bimben Grocery Store. In these places, I can find my favorite products and familiar seasoning, food, fish, meat, noodle, ... that I can cook traditional Asian food like Pho. Pho is a favorite dish of Vietnamese people. We also go to supermarkets like Walmart and Sobeys to buy other food on the weekend.

We want to spend more time taking my daughter out to places like the park, the beach, and some places we haven't been. We also want to try some new restaurants here. For me, I want to schedule more time for my hand embroidery. It is a job that I am passionate about and I love to do it. I hope our life will become more beautiful like the hand-embroidered pictures that I have created.
