I’m Prity P. I came to Canada in 2004. In my home country, I studied Tamil in middle school. After I came to Canada, I couldn’t go to school to study English because I had to go to work. In 2016, one of my friends told me about the LINC Home Study class. I found the link online and went to the LINC office. I took the assessment test and started LINC Home Study. When I got Level 4, I was able to apply for citizenship. My Home Study teacher is very nice and friendly. She is very helpful and gives good advice and I like to study at home.
The Canadian Citizenship test is usually a written test but it could be an interview if you don’t pass the first two times. You will be tested on the knowledge of Canada in English or French. If you are 55 years or over you do not need to write this test. I applied for citizenship in 2020 and I took the Canadian Citizenship test online this year in July. I studied from Discover Canada and my Home Study teacher gave me information on how to study and links for studying tests online. I passed the test the first time! I’m very happy that I passed with the help of my teacher Christina and Home Study. I am very thankful that I can continue studying English and improve my grammar. My future life in Canada will be good because of the help I got from LINC Home Study. I am now a Canadian citizen and am very happy. Thank you to LINC Home Study.
