In life, each person has a tendency towards some things, and is talented at practicing them. In my free time I personally like knitting wool sweaters, going to the movies, reading books and listening to music.

Among the books that I liked the most and read it several times, it is "The Prophet" from Gibran Khalil Gibran. A book that has touched many people very deeply since it was published in 1923, "The Prophet" captures the teachings of Khalil Gibran in a comforting story that touches on everyday topics like love, joy, sorrow, freedom, pain, and beauty. These stories, which are recognized as the author's masterpiece, invites us to reflect on essential themes of humanity. This contemplative style of the narration will captivate the reader.

This book was written by my favorite author, Gibran Khalil Gibran. He was born in 1883 in the Lebanese village of Bisharri, into a humble family. He learned from his maternal grandfather, the knowledge of art and universal knowledge, which were the basis for literature and painting, he already revealed himself as an artist, both on the literary and pictorial levels. He learned the English and French languages apart from his original language Arabic.

From a very young age, he began to forge a subtle, elegant, and fine literary style. During that stay in his native country, he stands out for his skill in drawing and the idea of writing a book, "The Prophet", was born in him, which would eventually become his masterpiece. His ability to draw and paint led him to create Works so important that they were exhibited in various parts of the world and came to be compared to works by Auguste Rodin or William Blake. He founded in 1911 a kind of political-social group that aims to fight against tyranny and oppression in the East and published many works in English as well that will give him world-wide fame. He died in 1931 in New York, at the age of forty-eight.
