roasted chicken legs topped with thyme

Chicken Air-Fry

(Serves: 4)

Ingredients:

  • 6 chicken legs (4.8lb; 2.2kg)
  • 2 Red onion
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic
  • 20g brown sugar
  • 7g salt
  • 4 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp of hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp of black soy sauce
  • 1 tsp of paprika powder

Instruction:

  • Clean chicken legs with 1 spoon of salt and 1 tbsp of vinegar under water, wash it with water multiples times, then drain them.
  • Combine onion and garlic in blender and grind it. Then, add all ingredients above, except chicken and blend it until the mixture is smooth.
  • Prepare a large bowl, put all chicken legs and season them with the mixture from the blender and keep it the fridge overnight.
  • Put chicken legs in airfryer for 7 minutes. Then, pause it, flip chicken the other side and keep it for another 10 minutes.
  • Serve with salad or rice or my favourite (mashed potato).
