In my culture we don’t have a specific season for taking a vacation like people do in Canada. We take it at the moment, when we need. Usually we take it for many reasons: somebody could take it to go build a house at the village; somebody could take it in the summer because they want to travel, to go to America or Europe; or somebody could take it when they have a special ceremony to do. For example, a wedding or a graduation party. It depends on the person, how many jobs they have to do at home etc.

I prefer to stay at home myself, but in my opinion, it’s better to explore somewhere I have never been if I have the chance to do it. Before COVID, when I was on vacation, I went to the United States with my friend to do shopping. It’s a great way to relax.
