It is easier for children to learn a second language than it is for adults. Firstly, children’s minds are new and still have a lot of room for learning. Adults’ brains have been storing things for many years, so they have a lot of information or maybe a few languages already in the brain. Therefore, it is harder for adults to learn more languages than children.
Secondly, children are still learning how to speak. With this if you speak another language other than English or if you speak English plus another language, your child is able to learn both because they are still learning how to talk and still learning grammar and vocabulary.
Lastly, children learn languages better than adults because children may focus more on learning new languages more than adults. Adults may not have the time or interest to learn a new language or may not want to focus when they are trying to learn the language. Children may think that the language is interesting and it may intrigue them to want to learn it, so they focus.
