My first trip after the pandemic was relaxing. We travelled for two hours to get to the hotel. The hotel is called "Hidden Valley Resort Huntsville" and is located in Muskoka. The hotel is beautiful and is surrounded by nature. In front of the hotel, there is a lovely lake. There are different ways to have fun there with outdoor amenities like a swimming pool. In the lake you can swim, fish, snorkel, and canoe. There is also a private beach and tennis and volleyball courts. Indoor amenities such as the swimming pool, games room, spa, bar, and childcare have extra costs. Finally, the restaurant offers good and fresh food, and the portions of the dishes are generous. But due to the pandemic, when we went, all the facilities inside were closed.

The weather also did not allow us to enjoy it a 100%. But everything we did, we tried to make it memorable. We expected it to rain but not that much. It poured from the time we left home until our return to the hotel. But when it stopped raining, we went out and it started to rain again and then we went into the room again. However, it was relaxing to get out of the house and enjoy a hotel room without worrying about cooking or doing housework. The trip was not perfect but there can be fun wherever you go; it all depends on your attitude.
