I have been busy last month working on renovation our house. We have learned o lot new thing while doing this job. And of cause, we saved a lot money doing it ourselves. First at all, we decided to repair our house outside before weather getting start cold. Our garage door was in terrible condition. Nobody painted it last fifteen years. A lot of time was needed for preparing. We need to remove the old paint. For this case we had to buy a special tool. We spent, at least, two or three day stripping off old paint. When we did it with my husband, we thought that we did more hardest work in our renovation. But the hardest thing was to choose the color of the paint. I took us one week to decide. First our decision was to paint garage door in pastel color like most of our neighbors. But when we came to the paint store and saw a lot of bright and beautiful colors we changed our mind. We thought we were missing bright colors during the long and gray Canadian winter and opted for neon green color. When I finished painted garage door, I painted our entry door and house number sign that everything was best combined with each other. Our garage door is now attracting people’s attention. Some people like it, some think that it is weird color. We like it and it more important than other people opinion. Because it just a color of garage door and we have more important things to worry about.
