Korea has a woman who made differences in many ways. Her name is Park Geun-hye. She was born on February 2, 1952 in Daegu, South Korea. First, she was the first woman president in Korea from 2013 to 2017. Her father also was a president from 1963 to 1979. He was assassinated in 1979. He had a lot of supporters and the supporters liked the way his politics. People included supporters, the women who would like to make a woman president and the conservative party who missed her father voted for her. I think the fact that women can be president in this small country has made differences in the world. Second, she is the first president to be impeached. Most of the Koreans protested to impeach her. I don't remember the details of the reason. I only remember that there were difficult and complicated political reasons to understand. People now know that the public could impeach the president so some groups of people protest to impeach the present president as well. Third, she is the first president who made changes for young people's thoughts. She taught them of the importance of the president of a country. The young people in Korea were not interested in the voting of a president before. I was the one of them. I remembered that adults had always been dissatisfied with every president and young people didn't make an effort to vote for a good president. After impeaching the president, young people make an effort to show their interest to vote for a new president. This is a huge change in Korea. She made changes both for the good and for the bad.
