Employment

I am from China, and I came to Canada in 2018. I graduated from the college with a diploma in cost engineering management. I will always remember my first job in Canada. I worked at Teriyaki Experience; it was a hard job. I had never done this before, but I tried to do a good job. They were very nice. Sometimes, I tried being a cashier as it was very helpful for my English speaking. I loved to learn the work.

I wanted to find a job related to my major. Finally, in 2019, a company asked me to interview. I was happy and scared at the same time. After the interview, I got the job.

This job was assistant surveyor, and I worked in construction sites with many people. They were from different countries and different cultures. There was lots of enthusiasm and humour.

Now I am studying English, which is great. I think I will use better English to describe my life and work in the future.
