British Columbia is a province of Canada which is also called Beautiful British Columbia - and it's true! British Columbia is beautiful and diverse. It is washed by the Pacific Ocean and most of its territory is occupied by mountain ranges. There are many waterfalls, hot springs and provincial parks with rich flora and fauna.

I would like to tell you about several places in British Columbia that I have visited. The first place is the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. It's an amazing place, a corner of nature in which plants from all over the world are collected. In the Butchart Gardens you can see gardens of different countries such as the English Garden, the Japanese Garden and the Italian Garden. The magnificent landscape of the Butchart gardens with waterfalls, small bridges, gorgeous trees and plants is mesmerizing. Here you can spend the whole day with your family and have a good time.

Another place I would like to tell you about is Boya Lake Provincial Park in northern British Columbia. It's a very beautiful place with wild nature and a breathtaking lake. The color of water in this lake is the same as in the Maldives. This provincial park is striking in its originality. The atmosphere of this park can't be conveyed in words. You can sit and watch this beautiful lake for hours and recharge with the energy of this amazing place.

After my trip to Boya lake, I fell in love with the north. Well, where else can you see a herd of 30 bison lying in the middle of the highway? The North is strong and harsh. I feel free in the north. But at the same time, you understand how weak a person is in front of nature.

British Columbia has many amazing places to visit, where everyone can choose to do something they like. You can go hiking, canoeing, observe wild animals in their natural habitat or just have a picnic by the ocean. The choice is yours!
