I was born in the Soviet Union in Moldova Tiraspol city. I have amazing parents, an older brother and a younger sister. In addition, I have many cousins, aunts, and uncles. We are very close as a big family.
I always was energetic and very curious in my childhood. When I was in high school, I entered a pedagogical college and did distant study. At the same time, I studied in the secretary program. I have a Pedagogy degree, and a diploma in Industrial Management and Marketing Engineering and many certifications.
In my life, I like to travel and try delicious food from different countries. I am always ready to visit new places and meet new people. I am a very open-minded person and easy going. Also, I like to design photos. I have some experience taking photos and designing different albums or project video with pictures, photos, including music and inserts from movies. In addition to this, I like to decorate things related to the interior.
I started to work when I was sixteen. My first job was account - executive secretary in my brother’s company. My first big event was when I arrived in Israel on a student’s program when I was eighteen. I flew alone to a new country without knowing the language and culture. My first impressions were of shock. I was deeply impressed by the weather, people, language, culture and everything different.
It was hard for me to be accustomed to a new life without family and friends, but that made me stronger and more independent. The students program included 120 students like me from different countries. We didn't have enough time for food or sleep because after studying, we had to work. We slept a couple of hours a day. This was a difficult time but at the same time, it was the most interesting time for me.
Three years later, my parents arrived in Israel and I was very happy. After, I got married and gave birth to two wonderful kids. My husband arrived in Israel on a student’s program too. My husband and I have been together all the time and that has made us stronger and taught us to appreciate each other and life. For many years, my husband and I dreamed of arriving in Canada. The whole immigration process took us about 5 years. We arrived first in Winnipeg, and after 3 years, we decided to move to Ottawa.
Here it is a little bit difficult for us. Right now, we don't have jobs, but we are not giving up and continue fighting every day. Even with some difficulties, we love Canada and hope for a bright future for children and us.
