Everybody has had good and bad experiences in our lives.

Now, I am going to describe a good winter experience I had.

I came to Canada three years ago, and I have enjoyed each season of the year but winter is my favourite season.

In my first winter in Canada, my family and I went to Banff in Alberta. It is a beautiful place, there are a lot of huge mountains covered in snow, a beautiful forest and lakes and of course in the winter it is all covered with snow.

I had never dressed in too many clothes or worn a heavy and big coat because in my country, which is Mexico, people wear light clothing even in the winter because the weather is always warm. Before coming to Canada, I had never seen and felt the snow fall on and around me. It is a beautiful sensation, but I don’t like the hard and cold wind blowing around me because it is cold.

In winter everything turns white, I like to see the roofs, the trees, the streets all covered with snow, and at night when it shines with a reflection of light, it looks like millions of stars shining.

I really appreciate the winter season, of course I enjoy it more when I am wearing my coat!
