My name is Rasha.

I’m from Baghdad, Iraq.

I lived in Iraq for 23 years with my parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. I’m the last daughter of my family.

In 2006, I left my original country, Iraq and went to the nearest country, Jordan, because there’s no safety in my country, Iraq. Then I travelled to Jordan with my family. When we were there my husband went to Sweden for immigration, but returned back later to Jordan after 4 years in Sweden without immigration. Still in Jordan, he is working in there while I have 2 beautiful girls. We all come to Canada on 21-5-2019 for immigration, while my parents are still in Jordan and my sister is also in Jordan, and my oldest brother went to Germany and the little brother lived in Holland.

I do not have any cousins in Canada, just few friends. While I’m in Canada, my dad died on 2-2-20202 while I’m pregnant, and I can’t travel to Jordan. I’m very sad for that and I miss him and my family. Then my child is born on 5-5-2020. He is a beautiful boy. His name is Yahia. He is very cute and beautiful boy, I’m now playing with him. I’m so happy I forgot that I miss my family. I’m enjoying with him, he is now 4 months and half and my daughter’s- the big one, she will be 13 years old and the little she is 7 years. I wish all the best life for my kids.
