Employment

When I first came to Canada I worked at Linamar as a machine operator and I have been there for about four years. Linamar is one of the biggest companies in Canada and they have a lot of employers.

I am currently working as a mechanic in Kitchener, Ontario. I love my job and enjoy doing it. When customers come, I will greet them warmly and then try to locate or fix their cars nicely. Different cars have different problems. Sometimes we work long hours, feeling very tired. We have a friendly environment at the workplace, because we are like a family. We joke with one another, even our boss. We also respect each other all the time.

My ideal job in Canada is to have my own garage and sell cars after fixing them. I will be managing the place. More importantly I get to train people with passion and give them a chance. I want to have my younger brother work with me since he is also into machines. My duties would be hiring people, dealing with customer and also making sure the cars are safe to be sold. Since I will be the owner, I get to leave and come in whenever I want. I would only show up fast only if it's an emergency. I want to work a maximum of nine hours per day. I hope one day my dream comes true.
