Technology is developing so fast that people do not tend to read books as much as they were reading in the past. Lots of people think that reading books is not interesting and is a waste of time. However, books are important for studying, researching and relaxing. Therefore, some people say that "Books are like teachers".

I think that books are like teachers in some circumstances. Reading books can teach us everything we like from learning languages to teaching languages. Especially with students, books are the best way to help them to understand more about lectures in school. Teachers can teach many subjects in the class but they can only give you the main points. If you want to extend your knowledge you have to read books. Everyone needs to read books including teachers, that is a way to help them to have wide knowledge to teach you.

This is not suggesting that books can replace teachers. Books cannot do everything as teachers. Teachers who find the way to ensure the information can be given to students to help them understand the lessons. They can explain by making the information easier to understand. Beside that, when students already know about a subject, teachers can help them to apply their knowledge. Teachers are better than books that means students can find out answers faster when they have problems.

Books and teachers are vital for our life but we should select the right information that we receive from them to help for our purposes. We need books but we also need teachers because they always complement and support each other.
