The best book I have ever read is called One Hundred Years of Solitude by Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I like this book, because the author since the beginning introduces us to the mystery of life through each character. The writer tells the story of a family's generation who live in a mythical town. The author tried to captivate the reader through the fiction and reality of the generation of a family, who can be your family, who goes through the stages of births, deaths and myths. Finally, the mystery that appears at the beginning of the play is revealed at the end.
I remember that while reading the book I was tempted to read the end, simply because I wanted to know what was the mystery of life that was found in the Melquiades’s scrolls. Well, I didn't do that, I decided that it would make it more interesting to try to uncover the mystery as I read the book.
Also, after I read One Hundred Years of Solitude I was interested in other books by the author. These books are very good, especially The Colonel who has no one to write to. From that book, I keep the reflection that sometimes we don't have someone to write to us. We are waiting for a letter, email, etc. that never comes.
In summary I believe that Gabriel Garcia Marquez was a good writer.
