I have two budgies, singing birds. They are about two and a half years old. My daughter gave them beautiful names: Moon and Light. The male bird, Moon, is blue and white. The female bird, Light, is white. The male is very social and the female is shy and light. She is the opposite of him. They look like small parrots but their sounds are so soft and very beautiful.

My budgies have lived in a cage for about two years since I bought them for my daughter. She likes animals so much, sometimes she pets them and carries them out of the cage. The budgies eat special food that I buy every time from Dollarama. It is called Budgie Food, which has vitamin and mineral enriched. My wife is taking care of them: feeding them budgies’ food every day and giving them a bath sometimes. During the day, they eat, sing, clean their feathers, and flirt with each other. They sleep about 8 hours at night. They like quiet while sleeping, and I cover the cage to keep them warm and prevent light from reaching them. Unfortunately, they haven’t laid eggs yet.
