I support David Suzuki’s view on genetically modified food. Although I lack knowledge in this area, but my instinct tells me, this is very bad. It’s not a product of nature. It’s against Nature Laws, it brings fear to people. In China, all products sold in supermarkets are asked marking if it’s a genetically modified food. I would avoid purchasing these products. In Canada, I don’t know if there is a related Law. Unfortunately, I have been having hives since coming to live in Canada for 3 years. I don’t know the reason. I found an article from Chinese social media that a part of Chinese people have allergic symptoms when they have come to Canada for 7 years. I don’t know if it is true. I guess the genetically modified substances have already destroyed ecological balance. I don’t know if it will bring terrible consequences. I’m a disaster movie fan. I’m a little pessimistic. I hope there are a lot of scientists like David Suzuki all over the world; they will express right views by the power of science. In China, there is a person name Yongyuan Cui - he was once a famous host. He has been insisting on resisting genetically modified food until today. I admire him very much. He is a brave warrior.
