Settlement

When I was coming to Canada, I thought it was going to be really hard, but I decided to keep going. I was leaving my family for the first time in my life, with no Canadian experience. My only support in this country is my husband, who is always here for me. I live in a small town. It’s far away from everything, but I feel comfortable because people are so kind here, and the nature and the weather are also so nice. I really like this country even though I miss my family. My goal now is to learn English, start a small family, and find a job.
