My Experience at Work

I entered the Waterloo store of T&T Supermarket in May 2024. When I first entered the kitchen department, I didn't understand the work requirements and responsibilities of each team and needed to relearn. I was very nervous at first, but luckily I met a great and experienced colleague who patiently taught me. Through two months of practice, each group's rotation work gradually gained my own work experience and insights.
The kitchen department is divided into hot food team, breakfast team, side dishes team, and sushi team.
The working hours of the hot food team are from 9:30am to 7:45pm. The cooked food by the chef is placed on a hot-table , and the dishes need to be changed in a timely manner and kept clean.
The breakfast team works from 7:45am to 6:30pm to cook snacks with Chinese characteristics for sale, such as pork dumplings, shrimp dumplings, shrimp Spring rolls and pork Spring rolls.....
The side dishes team works from 8:30am to 5:30pm to package the dishes produced from the T&T's central kitchen into small boxes for sale.
Many dishes nowadays are gradually becoming popular among locals, especially during lunchtime when many people from nearby workplaces come to buy them, so our kitchen department will be very busy now.
After a year of exercise, I am now proficient in mastering the work requirements of each group. So, I believe that as long as I work hard, I will definitely achieve success!
