Shopping

In Canada, I am exploring new ways of shopping as a new immigrant.

There is a bulk food store near me. It's about 10 minutes away and has a good variety of products like rice, pasta, nuts, and snacks. I think bulk buying can save money, especially on items that don’t spoil quickly. You often pay less per unit when you buy a larger quantity. Bulk buying is good for large families because they use more food and supplies. Buying in bigger amounts helps them save money and reduces the number of trips to the store.

Garage sale is also something new to me. This Saturday, I plan to visit three different garage sales in my neighborhood. I’ll start early to get the best items and bring a shopping bag and some cash. I’m looking for small furniture, books, and maybe something fun like vintage items or home decor. I'll check out the most interesting one first and then visit the others based on location and time. Sometimes I don't want to go to garage sales because they can be crowded, and the items are not in good condition.

I’m happy with the new shopping options I have in Canada.
