Winter 2015

Seasonal

Spring in Toronto is a long and mixed season. In summer we enjoy the warmth and the sunshine. Then a long, warm and comfortable fall. Winter in Toronto is not very long and there is little snow, but spring is a long and cold season. Some warm days and a lot of cold weeks is a symbol of Spring. In the morning it may be sunny and warm, but in the evening there may be freezing rain with strong wind. March and April are quite cold months in Toronto. There are often very strong winds. Snowfalls are also not uncommon. The sun begins to warm more strongly and the day becomes longer. Nature comes alive. Raccoons and skunks wake up. Migratory birds arrive. Trees starts to bloom. Cherry blossoms are a grand event in Toronto. Cherry blossoms begin to bloom in April or May. High Park has large alleys with Sakura tress. This is a gift from Japanese people. When Sakura blossoms - it is a very beautiful but busy place. To avoid the crowd it is better to come there early. There you can take beautiful photos. However, Toronto has another lot of interesting place in spring season such as Toronto Islands, Scarborough Bluffs, Ontario waterfront, and a lot of big and beautiful parks. The main thing is weather is comfortable for walking. Let’s enjoy sunshine, enjoy warm, enjoy spring.
