Homeland

I do believe that compare one country to another won’t be fair due to our cultural differences, the years and the history of each countries in question has. I will try to do a very honest comparison from my perspective.

As a Mexican, I cannot be more proud of my country, we are the descendants of Aztec, Maya, Olmec and Zapotecan people. That gave us so many traditions, recipies, rituals and lots of knowledge of agriculture, medicine etc. which is funny because at the same time we also very religious country .After this cultural pause, Its time to start the massacre.

One of the things that bothers me the most after some few years living out of Mexico are:
Unpunctuality an the lack of consideration for the person waiting is very annoying, its everywhere, DR., family, offices even friends tents to make you wait for then 30+. I just can’t stand that, I feel that they are playing with my time. Unlike Canada in Canada people respect your time.

The garbage and the street pets
Mexico city is a density populated capital because of that and the lack of environmental awareness, poverty and zero common sense the streets are dirty, you will find garbage everywhere and dog poop, the city has very peculiar odour .in my opinion Canada is more aware of the garbage and pets issue, you rarely find dog on the streets.

Traffic is terrible in a distance that usually takes 20 min in the city could take you 60+ min.

Safety is another huge issue; I was telling my family that in Mexico you develop another instinct. Every day, everywhere robberies happen, kidnaps, murders etc. its insane the numbers meanwhile here in Canada is happening too but not in the same level.

The government, police are working with the drug cartel. they bribed them so that way they can work freely . Those are just a few problems but when see the population of Mexico is when you realizes that is a huge issue.
