My name is Liliia and I arrived in Canada from Ukraine in 2022. I arrived with my family: My husband and daughter. Our son was born in Canada.

We love warm seasons, such as spring. We spend a lot of time outdoors. My daughter loves roller skating, and because of that, every weekend we go to Point Pelee National Park and we roller skate on the pathway.

We like fishing. Every member of our family has a fishing rod and a fishing license. That's the difference between Canada and Ukraine. In Ukraine you don't need a fishing license. We like to fish away from the hustle and bustle of the city, to be quiet and hear the birds singing around us.

We like to walk on the beach with a metal detector. In Ukraine we found a lot of old coins when we used our metal detector. The oldest coin we found was from 1812, still from tsarist times. It is very exciting.
