I am always imagining my family of origin could have an opportunity to travel together. My immediate family is happy and in harmony with all family members: my parents, my older sister, and my little brother. I grew up in a delighted family atmosphere so that is why I am so eager to go back to that happy time again. In this situation we all have our small families already, so it is pretty hard to schedule a perfect time to travel together. Additionally, I live in Canada currently and haven’t planned the next time to go back yet. However, I can imagine a family summer vacation arrangement and we just only need to implement it as soon as I come back to my home country.

First and foremost, I would choose a place that is cool for summer travel. In the north of China there is a place called Qingdao which is also world-wide famous for the beer of Qingdao. It is a place with an average summer temperature of 27 degrees with a huge, long coastline of the Pacific Ocean. My parents were busy caring for my siblings and I and couldn’t afford to bring our family to travel to the ocean’s beaches. I would also ask my sister’s and brother’s family to set aside that period of time to go together. I plan to travel five days during the week. There would be fewer people because Qingdao is a hot tourism city, especially in summer. I would book the flight tickets and hotel in advance at least 2 months before. I also would prepare beach stuff for my parents and kids such as swimming suits, sun cream, hats and towels and sand toys. I would list all the detailed things in my phone to make sure we have smooth beach days. A variety of seafood is the local specialty, and I plan to bring them to enjoy it. I can imagine my father drinking beer sitting on a beach chair watching kids playing and splashing. My mother would dress up in fashion and I would take lots of beach photos for her. My sister and brother and I would talk and laugh when remembering our childhood.

I hope this summer vacation is safe and full of happiness and comes true quickly.
