Today, I will talk about one of my favorite events in the city of Mississauga, which is called Carrassauga Festival. The Carassauga Festival event happens on a yearly basis in May for three days.

The Carassauga festival is an event, which gathers a lot of different cultures from different countries in one place.

First, I would like to highlight that the event is very well-organized. Each visitor will receive a passport, which includes the events and the locations where each country representing that culture will appear. That country location will present their food traditions, famous dances and souvenirs related to this country. Furthermore, these passports can be used for free transportation for the guests.

Second, the passport will be stamped with the country name which you decided to start with. Then, you will find a different activity in each country introducing the cultural aspects of this country, the food, the dances and so on. My advice is that you need to plan ahead to know which countries you want to visit, since you will not cover all the countries in one day or even different days.

Finally, I need to highlight my experience with the festival. I remember my home country of Egypt. It is a good time to visit one of the famous Coptic & Egyptian museums, which includes a lot of statues, the lovely tasting Egyptian food, and meeting with some old friends.

Furthermore, one of my good memories is my visit to the Portuguese event on Queen Street. That event had amazing food and nice shows and a lot of souvenirs, which I bought to my wife and my daughter.

I would recommend this event to be repeated twice a year, since I gained a lot of knowledge about cultural traditions and was able to experience many activities about many countries in one place.
