Canada

passport of a citizen of Canada on a dark concrete background

Being a citizen means being a part of the community and society. Citizens must be aware of their rules and duties. These must be performed in accordance with the principles of morality, culture, tradition, and the law . Citizens have important duties that they must fulfill. There are many responsibilities of citizenship, but I would like to share these key duties. The first main duty is voting. Voting is important for citizens. It allows them to choose their leaders or the party whose principles can guide how the country runs. The second main duty is to obey the law. The law is a regulation, a rule of a state or nation that enforces and controls the behavior of individuals in society. When people follow the law, it makes society great and peaceful. The last duty is to protect the environment. Nature is the biggest source of CO2 for everyone. It includes not just trees, but also soil, animals, air, and water. Therefore, citizens must be very serious about protecting them. Additionally, we can enjoy beautiful nature and have good natural resources for a long time. These are the duties and responsibilities that I think are the e most important.
