Canada

About 2 years ago, I experienced my first Canada Day in Thunder Bay. Before that, I did not know about this day since I always stayed at home. It was a sunny day with bright sunshine, so I wanted to wander around. I went to a park and saw a celebration. I was curious and discovered that it was Canada Day. Therefore, I knew this day.

In the park, there was a stage with some performances, singing or dancing. I was shocked by them since everyone was very happy and energetic. I was infected by their happiness and joined them. In addition, there were a lot of booths selling food, coffee, and some toys. Children were playing on the grass, dogs were running with their friends, and groups of Canadians were sitting together, singing or talking with each other. Everyone enjoyed this time. This was celebrated until the evening. I saw the bright fireworks in the sky and was shocked by it.

Most of the time, I am nervous in my daily life. I think I should do something or achieve something so that my life has meaning. However, this day gave me a new feeling that enjoying life is also meaningful. If I have the chance, I will celebrate it with more newcomers from my hometown. I believe they will love it.
