First Winter in Canada

Our first winter in Canada was very cold. The YMCA helped me get some boots and a winter jacket.
It was freezing outside. In Turkey and Syria, I saw snow before but it wasn’t the same as Canada. I saw my first icicles in Canada.
The second winter, I got used to the weather and loved the weather. I went walking in the snow with my husband and my two children.
I am used to the Canadian weather now because I have been here for seven years. We like playing in the snow. The kids go on sleds. We go down the hills. I like winter now.
