Employment

I came to Canada in 2022 with my family. Before I came to Canada I worked as a welder. I knew it would be difficult to find a job in Canada because you need experience and a good resume. Lucky, for me my brother has his own plumbing business. He took the time to train me to become a plumber. My brother worked closely with me and after two months I helped him with different plumbing jobs. After training as a helper for 18 months I got a plumbing certificate.

Now, I work side by side with my brother. I like working as a plumber because it pays well. The work is not hard to do and very simple. Also, because there are always a lot of plumbing jobs.

I plan to develop my skills further by going to school and taking courses in plumbing so that I can be a senior plumber. Then I hope to start my own business and then to go to bigger cities to work. This is my goal.
