I came to Canada more than one year ago. I can say that Canadian winter is a different experience for people if they meet a snowstorm in Canada for the first time. If you come from a warm country, you will be in shock. Of course, you know Canadian winter is cold, but living in Canada is a completely different thing.

My first experience was a really cold one. I had given birth and was returning home; and there was a snowstorm. Returning home was really hard. The winter can be really cold and freezing. You should be prepared by watching every weather forecast. However, winter months are fun for kids and adults. You can build a snowman, an igloo, and even funny ice sculptures so many times. If you have a child, you will have to Google: 'Are schools open today?' in the winter months so many times.
