As the culture has changed, so has the entertainment, so two of the most popular sports here in Canada are basketball and hockey, followed by baseball. Basketball is closest to me. In Egypt, basketball comes in fifth place, as squash gets a lot of attention from basketball, which makes it not widespread and there are not many people who play it.

The same goes for soccer here in Canada, as there are few soccer players, just like basketball in Egypt which makes enjoying soccer difficult in Canada. However, the timing of important soccer matches in the world differs from that in Canada. This makes watching the matches very difficult, such as the English Premier League, which starts here in Canada at 11 am, and the Champions League matches are at 3 pm. The next World Cup will be in Canada, the United States of America and Mexico. This is a positive point. Finally, I can watch the matches on time. In Egypt, where I used to live, we play outside at any time of the year, but in Canada, outdoor play is at specific times of the year.
