Canada is a very big country. All provinces and territories are so different. People live mostly in the south of the country, because in the north winters are very cold. There are many big and small lakes and provincial parks in every province. People like to visit them and rest in parks and near lakes. In Thunder Bay people usually rest near the Lake Superior. In Marina Park in the waterfront of a lake every Wednesday of summer were concerts of local music groups. Many people came to listen to music, meet friends, eat ice-cream and have a good time together.
In Canada there are people who arrived from different countries. They often organize folklore festivals and other celebrations of their culture. In Thunder Bay we have the Chaban dance group, where Ukrainian children and adults have been dancing for many years. Every year at the beginning of summer they organize a concert to present their culture to the residents of the city. In July I also attended the Italian Culture Festival in the city. This is a good opportunity to meet friends and relax. Canadians are very polite. They often volunteer and help in their communities and towns. For example, at Ukrainian concert I wrote the children's names in Cyrillic alphabet. In Canada I met many new friends. I like to live in this country.
