Travel (Outside of Canada)

I would like to recommend a few different places to visit in Sri Lanka. There are many beautiful destinations to see but I will talk about my two favourite ones.

I had a dream about going to Nuwara Eliya in Sri Lanka. This place is like the little England of Sri Lanka. It’s filled with green trees, forests and beautiful nature. This is the best place for a honeymoon. My sister went there for her honeymoon and again later on. She said she had such a wonderful time there. Honeymooners normally go to waterfalls, hikes, and visit the tea factory there. Newlyweds will get a feel of the colonial culture with lush green slopes, red brick houses and country house clubs.

My other destination would be visiting Trincomalee. This is also one of the best places for honeymooners. I was there when I was 14 years old. It’s famous for quieter beaches. There are beautiful Bay resorts, spas, beach hotels and cottages for visitors. It would be the most relaxing place to visit in Sri Lanka.

In conclusion, these two places are wonderful, but book these places far in advance if you want to go there and remember it is a long flight. Make sure you have transportation arranged too.
