My name is Roman, and I was born in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. I was born not alone, but with my sister, we are twins. My parents live in Ukraine. I have an older brother named Ivan, he has a wife and a 21-year-old daughter. My sister lives in Ivano-Frankivsk and has two sons, 12 year and 3 months. . The name Roman was given to me by my grandfather. My favourite holidays are Christmas and Easter because I get to spend time with my family and friends I speak Ukrainian, I understand Russian as well, and now I also understand English.
I grew up in Ivano-Frankivsk and at the age of 7, went to school where I studied for 9 year and then went to college where I studied for 3 years. At the age of 18 I joined the Ukrainian Army, which is mandatory for all citizens of Ukraine.
I came to Canada with my wife in 2013. The place in Canada I really like is Niagara Falls and I enjoy relaxing in the provincial and national parks. I work as a window installer and I really like my job although it is very hard because I work mostly in high places. I have been working for this company for more than five years. I studied at the College of Trades as an ironworker structural and armament.
My favorite memory in Canada is the birth of my son Denis in 2017. I will never forget this day because it was the most special day of my life. In Canada, I really like the attitude of people towards me, especially at work, they are aware that I can’t understand everything and they try to explain things to me with patiently. In Canada everyone is very friendly and helpful.
