Settlement

My family and I got a new special life event to celebrate. Why is it special and why we celebrate that? It is special because this event entirely changed our life and divided it into before and after. We have celebrated it since 2019. That year, we moved to Canada. We had been preparing for this move for a long time; however, as usual, we were not ready for this at all.

To save some room in our luggage we decided to first pack the most essential things like clothes, gadgets and baby care products. However, despite our greatest efforts, it turned out that all these things filled 10 huge suitcases. All of that took a week to pack. After this, we realized that we had more things to pack in addition to 10 huge bags that we already had. As a result, we had a TV, 10 bags, 15 huge suitcases, and 2 strollers. It was too much for us to take it on our own, so we asked our friends for some help. They quickly responded to our request and together we managed to bring all of our stuff to the airport in 4 cars. However, our struggles did not stop there. Right after we checked in our luggage, it turned out that our flight was canceled due to poor weather conditions. We spent that night in the hotel nearby the airport. Our new flight was on the next morning.

So, we landed at Toronto airport on 22 February 2019. We were so happy about that! This day became our special life event to celebrate. We celebrate our new step of life, our bravest dreams, and our teamwork in the family.
