The real estate market is one of a kind. Everybody know if there is something where you should always invest is a house, because it is making business in a long term. Since COVID19 arrived the world has changed; now you can see people looking for bigger houses instead of condos. We must adapt to our present. The online grocery shopping and work from home will be our new normal, so we have to modify the way we used to live.

When you go inside in the real estate business and you ask for information for a property that is handled by a realtor, you should know that you are entering in “the game”. And in this “game” the best bet wins the house, always. Also when working with a realtor you realize two things: Almost everyone is lying on your face, and almost everyone is trying to take advantage of you and “squeeze” you for money.

A realtor is nothing less than dealing with a sales person. A sales person will always want to take advantage of you, so they will always want to trick you so they can make more profit of that sale. And I’m meaning a sales person from the one who is trying to sell candies, going through the one who is selling cars, and ending in the one who is selling you (renting you) a house.

Speaking from my personal experience, since we’ve been forced to change our way of living , we had to adapt quickly, so I can assure you, if you’re looking to get a better place to live, be prepared to feel like you’re in a game where you probably will loose more than you can afford. Right now is almost impossible get a lease that do not consume almost the 50-60% of your monthly income. Have a place where to live is a right and everybody should have access to it, but now seems to me is more like a luxury than a right.

We only can wait and see the real estate market crash, because believe me it will happen, and when that occur it is better to be prepared for one of two things: get a cheaper lease in a better place or be ready to give the down payment for your new house. In that moment it will be the moment for people like you and me to win “the game” in the real state business.
