Chinese takeaway finger food Vegetable wontons with sweet chilli dip sauce and chop sticks.

This is my favorite food recipe from China. We call this food Wanton. It is easy to cook and when I make it, everyone I know thinks it is delicious. I hope you can try this recipe and have a little bit of China in your home.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4-pound ground pork
  • 1/4-pound shrimp meat chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package wonton skins

Directions:

  1. Mix pork, shrimp meat, celery, soy sauce and salt in bowl;
  2. Place 1/2 teaspoon mixture in center of each wonton skin. Wet wonton skin margin and fold margin over mixture to paste it together;
  3. Heat oil to 350 degrees F.
  4. Deep-fry wontons 2 to 3 minutes until brown and crispy;
  5. Serve warm with optional sweet & sour sauce.
