Love and Passion are not Enough

Love is the most important and essential factor for marriage. When a couple loves each other and they have passion, they will experience the most beautiful moments in their relationship. This usually leads to marriage.
However, love and passion are not enough for a successful and healthy marriage, especially during stressful times. Love alone is not going to pay the bills and cover the expenses, love and passion will not eliminate responsibilities and rights. Both husband and wife should fulfill their responsibilities to each other. In many cases when couples move in together, they see the hidden side of their spouse’s character. Some details they will like and some they will dislike, but they should be open to each other. They should respect each other, be committed and faithful.
When married couples have different goals and want to achieve different things in their lives, love and passion can fade, and issues and problems will occur. But when they have the same common goals and they respect each other's needs they will overcome their differences. They should focus on the common things, discuss the differences, and forgive the mistakes. This is especially important in times of uncertainty as we are experiencing now with COVID-19
